Colorado is truly a great place to live. We might be biased, maybe, but there are some things about this state and its great cities that you cannot ignore. The city of Colorado Springs was once given the moniker: “The City of Millionaires.” The name was given after gold was discovered on the western slope of Pikes Peak in the late 1890’s, making the nickname a more household name by the turn of the 19th century.
